"Hot Stuff" would garner Summer the Grammy Award for Best Rock Vocal Performance Female, making her the first African-America n artist to achieve that feat. The very intricate guitar solo was played by Ex Doobie Brother and Steely Dan guitarist Jeff "Skunk" Baxter.
