(This could mean that popping in and realizing that a video isn't what you wanted in the first few seconds WON'T count as a view, but this is a Youtube secret so no one abuses it. Views are checked against the computer for counterfeit views and that's basically why view counts freeze. Would think that by now they would have fixed this where views are now real-time. Surprised ratings don't freeze since those get manipulated as well but they must be able to track those better or just don't care about them as much.
