This musical finds the audience in attendance to the first "staged reading" of characters Bud Davenport and Doug Simon's original play "Gutenberg! The Musical". Bud and Doug are two incredibly sincere novice writers who are daring to dream that their brilliant reading will help them receive the funding of several big time Broadway producers. Before you know it you are transported to the beautiful town of Schlimmer, Germany where you will meet 26 colorful characters...al l played by the 2 actors. These characters will tell the wildly dramatic story of Johannes Gutenberg, with several embellished additions. Although Bud and Doug are altogether tactless, and do more to offend than impress, they unintentionally succeed in producing a hilarious piece of satirical comedy that will have you rolling on the floor by the end of Act 1.
