TheRealVerbz: You didn't listen to what I said. I never assumed sonoluminescent bubbles are examples of overunity. I said it is SEEMINGLY overunity. There is A LOT of study to be done regarding cavitation and sonoluminescence. I don't agree with you on the calories verses amount of heat generated in the bubble regardless of how long it lasts, etc. Yes it does require electrical energy. But what type of energy are you referring to? Transverse or Longitudnal?

Omnimity: I am open minded to new ideas and technologies and love science but you are making a logical flaw when you assume the crabs bubbles and sonoluminescence to be examples of over unity. The bubble only lasts for a very brief amount of time, millisecond or perhaps less scale. Its proportionate to the calories consumed by the crab when it makes the bubble. For SL, same thing. Small bubble and to maintain it require electrical energy to produce the sound waves.

TheRealVerbz: Thank You! Much respect. I know Dr. Greer. I attended the 2008 and 2009 Mt. Shasta CSETI expedition which was featured in Sirius. I also went to the Premier in L.A. last month. Liked the documentary for the most part... except when they showed youtube user "LifeHack2012" and his fake coils. Couldn't believe Amar and Greer put that in the documentary. You can see the hidden watch batteries under the hot glue of his little coils. (Which I and others made and doesn't work). Awful they put that in.

TheRealVerbz: The Sun is electric, not nuclear. In order for there to be heat, there needs to be something there to heat up. Frequencies of all kinds can exist, but without matter to interact with, by themselves the frequencies aren't hot, nor cold. When I mentioned the LED, I was reading the segment in the article. Type in the title and read what it's about. "New LED pumps more energy out than in." Regarding the salt water experiment, you'd have to look into the work of John Kanzius.

boredshorte: I'm entirely on board with the idea of spreading this kind of information, there are just a few things that made this video hard to watch. The first being that you linked high temperatures with the mass of the sun. There is no scientific principle that says high temperatures require high mass. Also when you were talking about the LED you talked about lattice vibrations, but didn't really explain what that meant. Finally on the burning water bit there is no mention of how much energy is put in.

TheRealVerbz: The ramifications would be that we wouldn't need to rely on Saudi gasoline, OPEC, the oil industry, nuclear plants, acres of solar panels, etc. It's illogical not to pursue this type of technology based on a worry that someone somewhere some day might try to weaponize it. If we can use it as fuel to replace all the crap we use today... then let's do it.
