rkrzbk: 11:03 I wonder if Nutn has heard of Gun Juice Microlon dry lube. I hear great things. I ordered a bottle yesterday after seeing a demonstration of it applied to an AR, 1911, & Glock 17 @ a gunshow. I guess it bonds w/ the metal of your barrel & receiver, forming a permanent microscopic layer of microlon that makes for a smoother action, less friction, higher velocity/accuracy, easier cleaning, and greater reliability. I'm excited to try mine out. That'd be cool if he did a review vid on it.

USpatriot741776: Nutn, been a long time fan of TNP, but some of your arguments make no sense. Like when discussing a drop down holster. When would your rifle be bashing into your sidearm? Do you not have at least one weapon in your hand? Additionally,if you go roll over prone, your hips should be down and your holster will be fine.

cschultzy56: Last bayonet kill in the US military? during fallujah 2006. last murder/self defense kill by a us civilian with a bayonet? never. I would much rather carry a good folding knife like a gerber06 that is a multi use tool instead of a bayonet, which quite honestly isnt a good knife. Unless you buy the Ontario knife and tool one, which is all but impossible to find and when you do theyre very expensive, thats a good knife, but the standard bayonet is a piece of junk.

cschultzy56: You need to establish what you need in a rifle. Do you live in a city where your longest shot will be 50 - 100 yards? Or in the country with long sight lines where a 3-400 yard shot isnt out of the question? How are you going to carry your spare mags? belt? vest? What do you need in your med kit? Will you carry a sidearm? if so how will you carry it? and the mags? how and where will you store everything? These among other things are all questions that need answered before you set up your rig.

lacenter645: good advice on the run and gun test case in point on a S&W 15-22 the swivel sling point at the rear of the receiver on the MOE model came off and gun fell to the ground, it unscrewed completely. I now have decreased it and added blue lock tight. thanks nutn
