Friday, April 20 marked the official dedication of UNO's Elkhorn River Research Station. The station, which has been in development since 2007, is designed by the Department of Biology's Alan Kolok to monitor the toxicity levels of the Elkhorn River. Another research station is scheduled to be built along the Platte River in the near future.
